Hepatitis B Resource Guide

Los Angeles/Orange County Hepatitis B Resource Guide

The Los Angeles and Orange County Hepatitis B Resource Guide is a collaborative effort of the UCLA and UCI APAMSA and part of the Hep B Free- Los Angeles and Orange County initiative in partnership with members of the Los Angeles and Orange County Hepatitis B Coalition. This resource guide is available electronically for health practitioners, community advocates, and individuals to use as an education tool to encourage every AAPI to be tested, vaccinated, and treated for Hepatitis B. Materials gathered from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Asian Liver Center at Stanford University, and numerous other sources provide the general background and statistics on Hepatitis B. The guide also includes a list of clinic sites offering reduced-cost testing, vaccination, treatment, and support groups in Los Angeles and Orange County. This resource guide is in the process of being translated into multiple Asian languages and includes an updated calendar of Hepatitis B community events to improve access to testing, vaccination, and treatment resources for Asian Pacific Americans in Southern California.
